The two cars made their debut in Big B colors at the Zenith Racing Series event at the legendary Sonoma Raceway, and they came out swinging: a pole position, a front-row lockout in qualifying, and a 1-2 finish in the opening race. That's about as good as a first weekend together gets.

The debut weekend at Sonoma — one of the most iconic road courses in the country — went about as well as it could have.
The team opened with a statement in qualifying, locking in P1 and P3 to put both cars near the front for the start. As the crew put it, the cars felt strong and they strung together some solid laps to grab the pole.
Then came the racing. Across a grueling seven-hour opening round, Nine Four Motorsports brought both cars home on the podium with a P1 and P2 finish — a 1-2 result in the team's very first race flying the Big B flag. With another seven-hour race still to come that weekend, it was a statement of intent from a team that clearly came ready.
