At Big B Energy, we don't just make a drink — we back the people who push hard, go fast, and refuse to settle. So when a team we're proud to fuel puts together a weekend like this one, we can't help but pass along the highlight reel.
July 18-19, Team RRR Racing swept both days of racing at the historic Nelson Ledges Road Course in Garrettsville, Ohio — taking P1 on Saturday and P1 again on Sunday. Two days, two top steps. That's the kind of performance that makes the long hours in the shop and at the track worth every minute.
A classic track, a serious challenge
Nelson Ledges isn't an easy place to win once, let alone twice. Tucked into the countryside about an hour southeast of Cleveland, the two-mile road course is one of the fastest, most flowing circuits in the Midwest — a sweeping layout of six to seven major corners and long, flat-out bends that reward commitment and punish hesitation. There's very little room to catch your breath. Keeping a kart hooked up and on the limit lap after lap here takes real focus, and doing it across an entire weekend takes a complete team effort.
The event was Round 3 of the 2026 AKRA National Road Racing Series, hosted by the Ohio-based Dart Kart Club. AKRA and Dart Kart once again put on a first-class show, drawing racers from across the country to one of road racing's most storied venues.
Two drivers, two victories
RRR Racing came ready. On Saturday, Matt Krechel put the No. 11 machine out front and never looked back, taking the win to open the weekend. On Sunday, Ricky Fulks kept the momentum rolling in the No. 13, backing it up with a second straight P1 to complete the sweep.
Two different days, two different drivers, one result: first place. That's not luck — that's a program firing on all cylinders, from setup to strategy to execution.
It takes a team — and a whole lot of energy
As RRR Racing put it, this was a total team effort. Wins like these don't happen without the crew at the track, the people working behind the scenes, and a group of partners all pulling in the same direction. We're proud to stand alongside TS Racing, VEGA Tires, RLV, BZ Technologies, Canham Graphics, Hegar 4, RWC, SMC, F.I.W., Joey Karter, and LSR in supporting this team.
And we're especially proud that Big B Energy is part of the mix. Racing rewards the ready — the sharp, the focused, the ones who stay dialed in when everyone else fades. That's exactly the moment Big B is built for. When RRR Racing goes to work, we're right there fueling the grind.
Up next: Summit Point
There's no time to sit back and celebrate for long. The RRR Racing crew is already looking ahead to Summit Point Motorsports Park for the next round of the AKRA series. We'll be there — cold cans in hand — cheering them on.
Congratulations to everyone at Team RRR Racing on a well-earned double win. Onward to the next one.
Big B Energy — fuel the grind.
