Sixteen drivers, one bracket, bragging rights on the line
Taking a page right out of NASCAR's own playbook, Fast Track Sim Racing ran its first-ever in-season bracket challenge — and Big B Energy was proud to be the bracket sponsor.
Just like the version you've seen on TV, the format was simple and ruthless: 16 drivers, seeded and matched up head-to-head, going week after week with the loser knocked out each round. Survive and advance, or go home. The whole thing built toward a two-driver showdown at one of the most hallowed venues in all of motorsports — the Brickyard 400.
Your champion: the No. 12 seed, Jacob Mossow
Here's what we love about a bracket: it's built for a Cinderella run. And that's exactly what happened.
Coming in as the No. 12 seed, Jacob Mossow put together the run of the tournament, knocking off higher seeds on his way to the final and taking the crown as Fast Track Sim Racing's inaugural in-season bracket challenge champion. For his efforts, Jacob took home $50 and a Big B Energy sample pack to keep the good vibes — and the good energy — flowing.
Congratulations, Jacob. Twelfth seed to champion is exactly the kind of story this sport is made for.
